A short description of important colours used in medieval illumination techniques.

This is a great work! I'm using only these colours for a Charlemagne's portrait I'm doing. If you are interested I'll post the link to the final result here. Most fitting since I'm using contemporaries descriptions of the emperor and have researched the emperor's attire from carolingian miniatures, so this colour palete is proving to be trully useful.

Thank you very much! That this will be of use to you for further work is even more important to me than your appreciation.

Yes, I am very interested in the outcome, and would like to see this. Especially interesting to me is that you are researching contemporary material and do not rely on miniatures alone. Keep it up!

I'll inmediately send you the artwork when finished, hope you'll like it. I'm also interested in using the Carolingian Minuscle, and other of the caligraphic samples you posted in your gallery, for some current and future artworks.

Thanks! I try to research what I'm drawing, both if is historical or based on a lore.

Thanks a lot! And thanks for commenting!
